Aus dem gewonnenen Klangmaterial komponiert die K\u00fcnstlerin eine dreikanalige Soundarbeit, die in den Raum zur\u00fcckgespielt wird und sich mit den Br\u00fcckenkl\u00e4ngen vor Ort vermischt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Gesamtwirkung von TRIOESQUE kann nur erfahren werden, in dem man sich einer Gruppe anschlie\u00dft und den insgesamt 440 Meter langen Raum durchschreitet. Die Aktivit\u00e4t des gemeinsamen Bewegens in den tunnelartigen Hohlr\u00e4umen wird Teil des H\u00f6r- und Wahrnehmungsprozesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Ain Bailey ist Komponistin, bildende K\u00fcnstlerin und DJ in London. In ihrer Praxis besch\u00e4ftigt sie sich mit Klangautobiografien, architektonischer Akustik und Performance. Baileys Klangarbeiten sind inspiriert von Ideen und Reflexionen \u00fcber Stille und Abwesenheit, architektonische Stadtr\u00e4ume und feministischen Aktivismus. Ihre elektroakustischen Kompositionen entstehen f\u00fcr vielf\u00e4ltige mediale Ausdrucksformen, wie zum Beispiel Mehrkanal- und Mixed-Media-Installationen, Soundtracks f\u00fcr bewegte Bilder, Live-Performance und Tanz. Seit 2018 leitet Ain Bailey im Auftrag der Serpentine Gallery und im Verbund mit dem Verein Micro Rainbow Sound-Workshops mit Gefl\u00fcchteten und Asylbewerber*innen aus der LGBTQ+-Community im Raum London. Ain Bailey hatte in ihrer Laufbahn als Klangk\u00fcnstlerin immer wieder Ber\u00fchrungen mit der Stadt K\u00f6ln, angefangen mit verschiedenen Projekten f\u00fcr die Tanzkompanie Mouvoir vor rund 15 Jahren oder zuletzt in diesem Jahr auf der Poetica, dem Festival f\u00fcr Weltliteratur der Universit\u00e4t K\u00f6ln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>en\/<\/strong><\/em><br>The starting points for Ain Bailey\u2019s site- and situation-specific sound work TRIOESQUE are sounds recorded in the centers of the three chambers of the Deutzer Br\u00fccke. From this material, the artist composes a three-channel sound piece that is played back into the space, so it can mix with the spatial sounds on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall effect of TRIOESQUE can only be experienced by joining a group and walking through the 440-metre-long space. The activity of moving collectively in the tunnel-like voids becomes part of the listening and perception process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Ain Bailey is a composer, artist, and DJ based in London. Her practice explores sonic autobiographies, architectural acoustics, and performance. Bailey\u2019s sound works are inspired by ideas and reflections on silence and absence, architectural urban spaces, and community-based feminist activism. Her electroacoustic compositions are created for a variety of forms, including multi-channel and mixed media installations and soundtracks for moving images, live performances, and dance. Since 2018 Ain Bailey has been leading sound workshops with refugees from the LGBTQ+ community in the London area, commissioned by the Serpentine Gallery and in association with Micro Rainbow.
